Since you guys like to complain about the government, thought you could learn how to contact your congressional representative so they can hear your complaints as well.

Purpose of your letter:

State your purpose for writing in the first sentence

If your letter pretains to a specific piece of legislation to the correct body of congress.
House bills are H.R. ____; Senate bills are designated as S. ____.

Be courteous

If appropriate, include personal information about why the issue matters to you.

address only one issue in each letter or email.

Addressing Your Correspondence:

To a Senator

The Honorable (Full Name)
United States Senate
Washington, DC 20510

Dear Senator (Last Name)

To a Representative

The Honorable (First Name)
United States House of Representatives
Washington, DC 20515

Dear Mr./Mrs./Ms. (last name):

Telephone calls are usually taken by a staff member. Ask to speak with the
aide who handles the issue about which you wish to comment.

After identifying yourself as a Constituent, tell the aide you would like to leave
a brief message, such as: "Please tell Senator/Representative (Name) that I
Support/Oppose (S.___/H.R.____)."

State your reasons for your support or opposition to the bill. ask for your senators'
or representative's position on the bill. You may also request a written response to your telephone call.

LOL

Good advice, but honestly I barely know anything about politics, I just like to criticize Obama because his advertising campaign was a bunch of brain-washing garbage.

CHANGE! CHANGE! ITS EVERYWHERE!!!

Honestly, I think he's got a lot of good ideas (though many bad ones too) and I like his philosophy, especially his efforts to end racism. I consider myself a Republican but for the most part I don't really care.

I'll start caring when I turn 18. Razz
