Awesome 3D shapes tutorial

(PDN)
Step 1. Draw random lines and curves
Step 2. Once you have alot Use Fragment (fragment count:50,Distance:16)
Step 3. New layer
Step 4. Type your text in the center (optional) (choose a nickname)
Step 5. Gaussian blur the text (power=2)
Step 6. Flatten the layers
Step 7. Curves until you get a design you like
Step 8. Delete the white background (or whatever color u made it) making it transparent
Step 9. Render it into a 3-D shape
Step 10. Save it
It should look something like this
Depending on which shape and the text I used WOA

Don't you just use the 3D Shape effect on an image? o.o

It just makes the image 3D, I could just make one of my abstract images and make it 3D.

But if u dont have abstract images Then u can use this (D)

Abstract images are easy to make.

Yea u just make random lines then color it in but these are transparent.

I just render a fractal and then use a few effects to make it look nice.
