Broken Comic Text Tutorial
like it or not, it's your own opinion. just don't flame it alright?
1. Make a new image. You can make it any size, but I used 300x300 for a tutorial size and 150x50 for a preview size.
2. Select the Paint Can from the toolbar and paint the background black.
3. Select the Text option. Change the font to white. Write the text you want (I recommend using Palatino Linotype. Size doesn't matter).
4. Go to the Effect options in the top toolbar, and go to "Distort." Click "Frosted Glass" effect.
5. Open the Effects bar again and this time go down to "Photo". Click "Glow."
6. Go back to "Photo" effects and this time click "Sharpen."
7. Back in Effects, open "Artistic" and use "Ink Sketch." (If I typed it wrong, it's the very first option. There's only three)
8. Go back to "Artistic" and this time hit "Pencil Sketch."
9. If you want, you can use the Magic Wand option in the toolbar to get rid of the white background that is produced by using the "Pencil Sketch."
You're done! If you want to recolor it, it's a bit frustrating but you can use the Magic Wand to select the white area in the text, then go to the Paintbrush and color it. That way you can color recklessly only in that area that is selected.
hope ya like it
