Rumor Mill: possible Wii hard drive

Note: this is a rumor, it has not been confirmed by nintendo.

With the 4.0 wii update making it easier to access the SD card, Speculation states that maybe nintendo is planning something with this. My guess is that it's a wii hard drive. this would be a HC(High Copacity) SD card, probably about 20 or 40 gb's. this will be a spendy item but to download new characters in brawl or get new maps in WaW, it'd be worth it.

And to add to the idea, Ea released a 2gb SD card for downloading songs for rock band 2. This could also be a sign.

Hmm...knowing how video game companies normally roll, Nintendo would most likely just make a whole new system.

You can get your own wii hard drive by buying an external HDD

Normal wii HDD is 512 MB.


Just buy a bigger one like i got a 560GB one and jsut format it to flash file system memory but u will have to somehow extract all the system files onto it for it to become usable.

i would enjoy new brawlers to pwn people with... lol i can imagine...... TINGLE WAH KOOLIMPAH!!!!!
