GFX team

Could somebody tell me what the purpose is of the GFX team, and also the purpose of the GFX mods.

yes i would also want to know
i have an idea that the gfx team does everything with graphix, sigs and banners.

but i dont know what a gfx mod

so please explain

Indeed we did, I'd still would like to hear from the others here who are involved with the GFX modship program.

The admins and soforth would, or should for the most part, should know lol.

I just started making sigs, but I ain't goin for that stuff. I make sigs just to my own, and maybe requests.

As the name "GFX team" implies, it is the site's team of graphic designers. Most online forums have such a team which makes official art for the site and usually creates tags and signatures for other members. GFX mods are generally the leaders of the GFX team, often the most skilled or active of the group. Most forums only have 1 or 2. Unlike the rest of the GFX team who have powers equal to that of normal members, GFX mods have all the abilities that regular mods have (ie: locking threads) but only in forums under the art category. Basically restricted power.

There are also a few forums that only GFX mods and staff members can see.

in short, we have an art team (that has a history of good works) so that any random moron who knows how to slap a poorly made render over a copy-and-paste BG cannot just barge in and start doing stuff for the site

However, sigs can be made by anyone. :cheers:

It also appear that everybody in the GFX team in the first place are already of Mod status or higher in this clan. (with the exception of you)

BA, Think of it this way, GFX Mods have their own Forum, it's just like us regular mods and admins, we have our own forum as well.

So we both share equal power, just for different uses. Regular Mods are for chat, S. Mods are for forums and chats, Admins are for everything basically, while GFX Mods are the arts forums only

however in our case gfx mods arent the leaders of the gfx team , by lloyd's so called " standards " its the gfx admins who have full authority over the art forum , I being one of them

and by one of them i mean 1 of the 2 ( sad face lonely )

indeed. The "exclusive art forums" aren't anything special. They are kinda'....inactive.
