NEW WOA/XOA BANNER competition!!!!

ok 1st let me say, sob i kno u made a banner already for XOA, and im sorry to let u down, but i cannot use that banner, thankyou for showing the dedication of making that w/o even being asked, i appreciate it and i am rewarding u with 100 wd as i type. u are also welcome to try to make the 1 i am asking for below.

now for the real business of this post. i cannot make 2 portal pages have 2 different banners. the site wont let me. all pages on this site must b under 1 banner.

that being said, i think with the formation of XOA, a new banner is called for =)

i cannot actually start it yet b/c im not completely sure what XOA's official games are, but i can tell u this.....this banner is gunna b frickin hard 2 make. im going 2 want a lot of specific details and even an experienced gfx artist may have a difficult time.

knowing that, any1 who still feels up to it is WELCOME to try!!!! i encourage all submissions!

the prizes are as follows:

1st place: 500 WD and the honor of having the banner you made be WOA's new banner for the next (VERY LONG TIME!, I dont like changing our gfx a lot so rest assured it will b on our site for at least a year!)

2nd place: 300 WD and knowing that u were thiiiiiiis *holds up 2 fingers rlly close together* to winning 1st

3rd place: 200 WD

every1 else: 100 WD for trying =D

details on what i want, and a deadline will b posted as soon as i know for sure what games i want on it

Im in on this one baby When i get home i'll see if i can get my comp running again , because its broken but theres a good possibility i can fix it without spending any money or having to buy a new one. this banner can be apart of my " Back from the Dead " Project

i want this banner to be almost just like our current WOA banner, but with an XOA flare!

when i say i want them next to the cod pic...i mean...RIGHT next to it. i want these three characters to be almost overlapping eachother.

then with a small space between it, to the left of the 3 guys in the middle i want pika, link and mario rendered out of this pic http://skattertech.com/media/2008/03/super-smash-bros-brawl-characters.jpg

and then on the very left of the banner i want the same pic of axel from GH we have on it now, but rendered better (w/o the white lines around the edge)

to the right of the 3 guys in the middle i want the same pic of mario in his kart thats on it now (rendered)

then next to that, i want the singer, AND drummer from RB1 (including some of the lights behind them) rendered out

then on the far right, i want the same pic of ACCF thats in that spot now (including the bushes) but render out the boy for more room. just leave the girl and the bushes

thats it for the pics, so they go:

GH, SSBB, HALO, CoD, Conduit, MKw, RB1, ACCF

then for text:

-for the font, use the same font we have now if u can (i kno its from photoshop) or another font u think is even cooler, but it betta be RLY kewl cuz i love our current font

-for font color use the same as we have now, or maybe some type of brighter green but only if u think it looks good. if not either of those then just make sure the font color looks ok on top of the pics on the banner. Noticable, but w/o looking weird and standing out too much, or blending in 2 much

-make the banner BackGround dark green like it is now (aside from the middle where there will b the CoD pics BG with the 3 guys over it)-

i want it to have a W right.....BUT heres the tricky part.....see how if u look at only half of a W it could be the top of an X? well put an X over the right half of the W in WOA, then it will say WOA AND XOA!! how cool will that be!?[/b]

- id prefer that after the W/XOA that u do NOT spell out ownage army cuz i think it might be too much, just W/XOA. BUT if u think u can make it look good then by all means try, i encourage u 2 if u want 2

-W/XOA text does not have to be centered. put it wherever u think looks best.

-W/XOA is the ONLY text i want on this banner. NO game titles or anything else.



.......ok so i said this wont b easy. its not at all impossible, just rly specific and might take a bit of effort to get the detail ive asked for.

if i have more than 1 that i RLY like maybe ill even switch in the 2nd and 3rd place winners here and there for a few weeks. But the #1 winner will b the MAIN banner for sure

im not going to enter if we are going to have it all in 1 banner. it would be way too crowded. If you want i can make 2 different banners and have them with random transitions in flash. I can even add buttons to link it to pages of our forums. If thats ok with drew.

and if i do make an XOA banner, i wouldnt be able to make it exactly as you want it. with the positions and everything. i could make it a lot better if you just told me what games to put in it

nuh uh! its not too crowded D: if its too crowded make your banner bigger..i already made one

no but rlly, its not even close 2 impossible. it wont be anymore crowded than the banner we already have. i know because for every new thing that i added, i took something away.

i cut out that whooolee blue part of the brawl pic.....the whoooollllee tan part of the cod pic AND half of the AC pic...PLUS i said that i only want "W/XOA" not the whole wii ownage army written on it. that frees up a LOT of space man, seriously.

i'll have to agree with lloyd here though, it is incredibly crowded. i would have liked it more if i hadnt put the rb pic in. but whats done is done, hope you like it
