i have and they are "kinda" cool.... but its not as fun as actually Racing others on wifi......... So. i'd have to say No. not really

i have before, but theres always that asian kid who is always that lttle bit better than you XD

well I wont hold it against you, One could go deeper and think about when to turn and power slide, which kart to use. You know, the overall strategy of the game. It's true you use the A button to accelerate and the B for break which would be just two buttons but you also have to use other buttons to power slide and use Items which are frequently combined during the race.

I used to do tourneys, but then realized I will never get on to the high scores list. You've got to be damn near perfection to get on there, and I'm a Wii Wheel user... it's a lot easier on a gamecube controller, but for me, using the GCN controller kind of ruins the essence of Mario Kart Wii

And... I just have a competitive spirit, if I'm not the best at something I can't put it down for a long time But I've finally given up on these
