Good sites to recruit for the clan

every 1 post the best sites u know of to recruit members for WOA. After u post, i will add your url to the list on this post or if you have mod powers just add it yourself

SITES TO RECRUIT AT:
Wii-Chat: http://www.wiichat.com/private.php careful! dont mention WOA or clans in any way or they will bann u quickly. When u post a link there, it's best to just say "here's a link 2 a cool site if u want 2 play me some time" or just private message people you see that you think will join us. A very good site even when not recruiting.

MKwii-clan zone: http://www.mariokartwii.com/forumdisplay.php?f=26 A sweet site where you're totally ALLOWED TO ADVERTISE FOR WOA! advertising ur clan is encouraged here! also a great site even if you arent recruiting.

Other XAT chatbox groups: you can find url's for tons of other wii related chatboxes that have lots of people without clans to recruit! just click the button on the bottom right hand corner of our chatbox and search wii related chats. use words like "mkwii" "mariokart wii" "ssbb" "mohh2" and other wii game related searches to find good chatrooms to recruit in. u may get banned if u do it in front of mods or admin though so try 2 use private chat

Also, it sounds messed up, but if u visit some of the small, inactive clans on the mkwii, and ssbb top100 lists u can get thier members to switch to WOA by telling them how much better and active we are =D

www.Friendcodes.com a site where people who play wii online exchange friendcodes!

www.gamebattles.com u most likely will have to battle ppl for them to join though but its very effective, got over 3/4 of wD members from there. 7 ppl in a day.

www.gamespot.com A game site for all systems with a section to talk about the wii. be careful recruiting here, u will be benned if u get caught. make a special account just to recruit. same with wii-chat

Another good place to advertise is online games. I even got recruited to RM from a friend on Maple Story.(I don't play it anymore lol)

yea we do that! lol we all put WOA IN our game names and sum of us have our URL as our name at the same time...then wen they see how we pwn, theyll know how 2 get here

its actually not that bad....all u gotta do is just make a different account to recruit with cuz they dont ban ur ip address just ur username...so when u get banned..who cares??? lol its not even ur real account.
u can get ALOT of members b4 they actually find u out and finally bann u...then just make a new account and jeep on going!

You can get banned for advertising, though. What we need is a clan email address that we can use to sign up on various forums and advertise. Even if it gets us banned, we will get our advertising in, maybe gain some new members, and we won't lose anything. :pirat:

I think any place with a forum that has a spot for video games would be a good site, but not another clan site!

I used to know a place "Wii friends" i think was what it was called. that was where i found my first friend brawl match.

Here are some tips from a clan i used to be in.

1.Talk with the person a bit
2.Rub up to him and be his friend
3.Don't just announce it straight out loud after your his friend!
Hang out a bit!
4.Also remember to play Wi-fi with him!
5.And tada your done!(He might refuse by the way...)
