They've almost cut Amy out of the series. All the originals are being quickly replaced by the hordes of new characters.

Amy was in Sonic Unleashed, but she did pretty much nothing. And she's "sorta" in the Children's Story series, but they are characters that look like the originals, not the specific characters, and the comic-book style cutscenes don't show enough of the characters' actions, emotions, etc. The recent cutscenes are all so shallow and poorly-made.

In terms of a fight, Super Shadow.

In terms of favoritism, regular Shadow and regular Sonic are tied.

Shadow, because when he's in super-mode, he just does the same stuff as Super Sonic, but when he isn't, the way he fights is a lot more exciting and such. Sonic, because he's awesome, and DOES IN FACT have the ability to use chaos powers, as SEGA seems to have forgotten...

This is what we who play the recent Sonic games call: "Uneducated, assumptuous opinion." Unleashed is decent, and Black Knight is at least a good game, if not a very good game. Stop taking IGN's word to heart.

IGN? I don't read reviews, I play the games and judge them myself, and I have my own opinions, seeing as I've been a Sonic fan since the very BEGINNING of the series.

The series is going downhill very quickly. The cutscenes are crap, the voice acting is crap, the music is garbage, the original cast is being cut, and the gameplay is overly-redundant. The only thing they've inproved is the graphics.

Sorry to sound so harsh, but that's what I believe from my experience playing the recent games. It's all gone downhill since Sonic Heroes in my eyes.

I vote for shadow because they made sonic lame in the more recent games.
