Pokemon Platinum

Well I feel like kind of a idiot getting this game but I'm going to get it soon... a couple of my irl friends are getting it (and they arent as nerdy as me, lolol) and theyve convinced me, so I feel like much less of an idiot getting it... XD

Yeah so I'll probably be getting it Friday, along with GUITAR HERO METALLICA

And now, I'll move on to the point of this thread... WHO ELSE HAS POKEMON PLATINUM OR PLANS ON GETTING IT?

POKEMON PLATINUM FTW, yes i have it and i beat it in only 7 days, I caught Giratina and got the Griseous orb, Dialga Palkia and not much more but still IT IS AWESOME!

But no way am i getting Metallica, I hate that band, all that screaming and yelling and carrying on in the vocalist, IT RUINS THE SONG!

Eh, I only play Mystery Dungeon.

i plan on getting it. i have so many good pokemon in pearl to transfer. and i mainly like d/p and platinum cause of the new wifi stuff which i can access cuz i have a nintendo wifi USB with the newest software =p +i can to own u ppl on wifi!! MUHUHAHAHAHAHA!!

And I don't waste my money on games that are nearly the same. And if MD was Wi-Fi, I could pwn you all. :face:

@Grim: the game is in a large number of ways completely different than D/P.

Also, you'd probably appreciate Pokemon in general more if you got into trying to play somewhat competitively.

Like I said before, I'm not nieve enough to judge games without trying them. I HAVE tried the games, and I HAVE tried the Wi-Fi.

the wifi in platinum is extremely different this time around than d/p theres this online hub kinda thing now that i think is neat

If I actually enjoyed the series, I'd just skip out on the first 2 and wait for the upgraded version.

I could buy another game in the meantime.

I read a review that the differences seem "tacked on" and don't really fit. And that the differences aren't worth it, unless you are a pokemon fan who won't be able to live without it... but that's only what I read in this one review sooo... idk just saying

That review would be correct. It is indeed "tacked on".

I'd say yes if he likes the redundancy of the series, and no if he has Diamond or Pearl.

im not in to pokemon nore interested in buying it.

I won't buy it 'cause my top screen is messed up (Whenever I press the L button the screen flashes white all the time).
I rather buy it for my friend who is a pokemon fan

I didn't hack, it was an uber glitch.

i've hacked pokemon platinum japanese version so i don't kno if i can use wifi but yeah i have it its iight... i only got it cuz it was free....

Breeding is a nightmare in this one. :/

EV training is wayyyyyy easier if you use the Power items+Pokerus. I EV trained my Forretress in 15 mins.

The ev training is hard for meh becuz i tend to forget to give my pokemon those ev medicines then i ev train them and then think im done but forget to give them 100 or so ev from the medicine... I get frusterated sometimes T_T Im just a idiot on this *whacks myself*

i LOVE platinum it is waaaay better then diamond and pearl, which got boring really fast!!!! Platinum i actually trained for once and got through a lot quicker. I love the challeneges. I have lots of pokemon (sorta) And new pokemon awaits me in the future to be caught trained and battle along side me in Pokemon Battle Revolution

i have platinum and i beat in 2 1/2 days because it's so much like diamond. I did everything i could and i'm bored with it. Rayquaza ftw
