Forum Topic Watching

I've noticed that for some reason whenever I open a topic it immediately watches it for me and constantly sends e-mails to me.
Despite the fact that I've opted to unwatch every topic, I still get the e-mails.
Anyone know what's going on?

Your options were set so that you would be notified of new replies.

Thank you. It was bothering me since I've been waiting for an e-mail for something else and every time I saw a new e-mail my hopes were shot when it was from here.
