Microsoft Kinect,Discriminate?

Kinect for Xbox 360 is now released in North America. Wednesday, a review report from Gamespot noted that Kinect's facial recognition capabilities appear to fail to recognize players with dark skin. This time, Kinect has fueled the debate over whether facial-recognition software discriminates against some races.

What is your opinion about this news.

I think it's just people wanting to make controversy for the sake of there being controversy. Hardware errors happen and this may simply be one :l

its probably just a bug in the hardware

It's highly unlikely that this error was done on purpose, as Azazel inferred, people swarm around controversy. Microsoft has no gains in personal relations being bigots in this market, that is certain.

I totally agree that sometimes hardware bug happening is normal.

Thats weird, maybe there is a bug or they're just waiting to update.
