Computer Issues

So recently my computer got the blue screen of death. I think I fixed that thanks to my friend for the help. However now I'm getting some message saying that I'm missing System32/DRIVERS/pci.sys or something like that. It says I need the start-up CD of my driver to repair it or whatever. So the main point is that I'm having serious issues with it and I might be away for a while if I can't use my downstairs computer (I'd attempt to use my laptop but it is unbelievably slow and I can't reset the hard drive).

I had something like that happen once.

Just...
-Get on a different computer
-Download the Microsoft Windows System Restore Disc
-Burn the downloaded ISO to a blank DVD-Rom
-Pop it into your computer and use it to repair

Simple as that.

He doesnt even have to do that. If you really wanted no hassle, you could just go to bestbuy, and rent a USB loaded with the installer for your OS, and boot from it, then within 20 min, you would repair it.

Which would cost money. Money=Hassle.

Besides, the disc method only takes like...20 minutes. You'd spend more time having to go to the store, rent it, and then use and return it. xD And you can keep the Windows Repair disc in case you ever needed it again.

Or my friend burns it for me and gives it to me. Then I save time AND money.

But then you still have to wait for him to get the disc to you.
