New Rank System suggestions

Heres how it works.

You have an idea. Post it here. The name if u have one. The description, and if you rly want, either a description of the rank pic or the graphics u want me to make the rank with.

After you submit it, it will be reviewed by mods in the A/M lounge. If accepted, you will see it added to the list. If not, you will recieve a PM telling you it has been denied.

Artist-for the person who makes remarkable artwork as voted by a knowing group

-Joker-someone known for making jokes
-Game Master_________- basically make a rank for the best at a certain game which can be challenged for. I reserve Brawl. wink.

Well i have one

Poster of the Month: Each month the person with the highest posts earns this rank. If a different person has more posts the next month then he or she will earn the rank and the person who had it before will have to re claim it again unfortunately.

Sort of like a competition, maybe.

uh it could be a blue color with a pencil?

Cool idea, might cause spamming though...but I doubt it.

I actually think we already thought of that, but said it would enduce spam and would be a bit annoying to keep track of if it was spam or not.

well as we talked about, game related ranks will come later, while the new rank system sets in abit

Ideas to stay away from for now:

1. Awards based off of games, we shall get to those later.
2. Awards based off of post count. Instead they should be based off the content of those posts.
3. Awards in which you are 100% sure you would achieve easily. We would just be less inclined to make one if your only reason for suggesting awards is to get more awards.

frost how do you have the mil rank if your only like at half wat to 3k

how about member of the week awards and such stuff like that

and i dont think giving an award for posting is really a good idea
then people will just post for the post count, the forum will flood, and not because they have something meaningful to do and might get banned or something, it has happened in the past,
so i suggest no awards for posting, unless its a special achievement like when you get 2K, 3K, 4K something like that
or being on the top posters list, but other than that, like i said, no awards for posting.

but member of the of the week award is a nice idea, members that are active, help others, participate in clan events, etc.

i had that in my newspaper lol, the WOA newspaper

your abit behind, we've thought of all of that, member of the week wont happen. there isnt anything given based on post count except milenium poster rank.

i agree with it being member of the week on pika's news but not as a rank or anything of the sort.

Organizer-Someone who successfully organizes and holds a clan event. The graphic can be some organized files or some shit.

we havent had any clan events in awhile too, this might incourage people to hold events

HA! That's a good one for brawl. But that's MY title. I vote we have a clan-wide tournament (for those who want to enter) to determine the Game Master for Brawl.

The Recycler: person who recycles topics alot.

The politcian: uses the most words to say what the person actually means

and guys these are forums only ranks, nothing to do with games.

Defender-Someone who sticks up for people if they are left out?

I have 2.

Tournament Winner: Someone who wins 1+ tournaments/gaming events.

Tournament CHAMPION: Someone who wins 3+ DIFFERENT GAME tournaments. (EX: Dan won a Brawl, MK Wii, and Cod Event*)

*Not really. I don't have CoD

WOA-Mastery Get up 2000 Post Count

WOA-Good Be Respect to clan

I'd like to keep this topic up, we need more ideas and we need to make ranks =/

Hey, whatever happened to ranks based on post count anyway?? Not ranks you need to buy, but old fashioned forum post ranks! And no they do not advocate spamming, any other forum on the internet should prove that point.

We already have an awards based off of post count, the millennium poster award is achieved for reaching 3000 posts. Other than that we don't really need several awards just for the number of posts you have. It's never been a system we've had here at WOA.
