Green Day: Rock Band

Have any of you guys heard about this?

I just heard about it today...

Any thoughts? Comments? I'm not a big fan of Green Day...I do like them I just don't listen to them often... but anyway I thought you guys might find it interesting.

It's projected to come out sometime next year.

why is it they choose green day and not another "bigger" known band to make a game about?

i mean Metalica , Van Halen , Beetles , and Aerosmith yes well known bands and they would deserve a game ( even tho van halen didnt turn out so well torwards the critiques) i dont get why green day tho.... i mean in place of greenday i can see this:

GH or RB worthy bands

Slayer
Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force
Buckethead
Santana
Static-X
Pantera

each of those deserve a game in tribute of them , but Green Day?

no offense to green day fans but i just cant see it. im sry i just cant see what activition has in their try to look like they know good music minds.

cuz they dont. i mean most set lists only contain so many well known and good songs that people wanna play.

Green Day is just as legit as all those bands you mentioned. If not, they are maybe more notable. That's just your opinion, from someone who likes metal more than punk. Green Day will go down as one of the greatest rock bands of all time, whether you like it or not

...BTW, I've never heard of Static X.

Guns N' Roses needs their own GH or RB Title

OH, I do understand your opinion, I'd take Buckethead over Green Day anyday. But the fact of the matter is that Green Day is more popular
