ok so i remember ages ago in the old site we had "the chosen few" and i'm bringing then back on brawl

I brawled soma and I showed him that Peach can pwn XP so that makes me 3rd? jk but I would like to brawl others to see if I'm good enough to be in the ranking. That will show you, dont mess with her soma! XP

I'm up for this. How does it work? Do we just challenge for spots or what?

well here how it works
to get higher in the ranks you need to face the rank above your rank e.g. you rank 5th you need to face the 4th rank to get higher and if you win you get the 4th rank
chalange rules
3 stock
2 wins to win
it MUST be a stage you agree on
no items
and you must stay with the same charatier that you pick at the beginning

So by same character do you mean same for challenges or keep it the same for the entire ladder?

Also, if challenges are to be made in this topic, I challenge Ren for spot number 5!

well no each challange you can only use one character
e.g
one challange you use kirby
another you use fox
in ofer words you can pick what ever char you want but you gotta keep with the same character on each

i say loser can change between the matches.

so like say its me (shiek) vs grim (lucario). If i lose that match, for the next match i should be able to change but he has to stay lucario.

You just need to have a lower battle ladder with 10 people on it so that they would have to work their way into the "chosen few".

well your old tcf had only 5 on it soo... i don't want to change it

But aren't battle ladders supposed to have enough secondary spots to fit all of the members into? It would be less stressful on the people in the top five anyway, since they'll end up having challenges by the dozens, and it would also show the progress of each individual member.

I challenge whoever I need to challenge. If that means Ren then I challenge you.

you need to ask ren for a match then

I think we should take my previous points into consideration. Ren is going to die being challenged by every member that's not in the top 5.

The thing is with the way it's currently set up is that if you're not in the top 5 you have to challenge the number 5 person. That's why Ren is getting so many challenges.

well ill just go through all the ranks and then take lloyd's rank
