Which browser do you use?

This is a poll about which browser you use to explore the internet, you may also discuss the various features of the web browser of your choice.

I put other. I use Chrome, but it's a completely cracked and decked out version. It's exceptionally fast, portable, and uses plugins from almost every other web browser.

I hear a lot about Chrome and it's speed, but when I tried it out I wasn't all that impressed. Perhaps some of that was in part because I'm real used to my current browser.

i had the same experience for chrome as BA,
i use Fire Fox though, its great except for when it crashes lol

Firefox, i was the first one to vote for it here, but i didnt post, Firefox all the way, Screw chrome XD

i mostly use firefox. Its much better for me.

@BA - If you are on a computer with less than 4 GB of ram and less than 2 GHz CPU, then you wont see much difference. Because chrome uses more resources then usual with more tabs open, so if your on an old comp it might run slower

@grim - That version is waaaay outdated. That is chrome 2.0, which is less than 1o% the speed of chrome 5 the current version.

Well that's natural, the better components you have the better your computer will perform in various tasks, also I'm at 4 GB of ram with a dual core running at 1.60 GHz Each.

i use firefox, internet explorer wouldnt let me see the forums correctly.

it also doesnt crash for me x3

Firefox does not crash on me that often, but one thing I did like out of Chrome was the feature where if one tab crash it would not take down the entire browser.

firefox i perffer it better than IE or Anything eals =P

I think its safe to say that IE8 sux in general. In tests it was worse in everything than all other browsers, even netscape. But i hear promises for IE9 coming soon.

I'll go to Google and see what I can find about it. I'll post some of the stuff I find here for those others who are wondering.

I use Chrome because I had never used it before, but I like it so it stays. I tried Opera at one point but it froze every time I clicked something so that went fast.

WOW i never liked fire fox, probly from the set up but i always used explorer im suprised

Since the rest of the browser choices are 90% more customizable in terms of setup than Internet Explorer.

I used to love IE, and hated Firefox as a young adult, but that changed when I got older.

i use chrome cause its faster than IE.

i might try out chrome, lately firefox has been acting weird for me :S

the forums load very slow now

i also use Firefox which seems to be the most common browser on here
