shiki's mod app

i am applying for a mod position in the forum. i believe that i would be a good mod as i have had past experience (at sfl, and hw). i also follow the rules, and i am very active. i am friendly to those who are friendly to others, and to everyone who deserves kindness (cclloyd i just joke about the pirate thing lol). i know when the boundaries are crossed, and when to use power, and not abuse it. some activities i have participated in are a mkwii tourney, hosted by a believe funky, and sotw's 4, 9, and ten I believe. I am in the top posters, as well, 6th or 7th I believe. i am active, and i come on mostly everyday, several times a day. i also have experience in c-box moderating but, that will be for another time. i also know many of the members here, as i was a member very early on when this woa had just started up, as well as a member for a short time at the last woa. these are qualities that i believe qualify me to be a mod, but that decision is wholey yours. thank you for considering this request~~~~ Shiki~~~~

let me put in some words of wisdom about what I think being a mod is about... now this is only my opinion but please take to heart the words I am to speak here,

being a moderator is more than having cool powers. It's a responsibility. becoming a mod is an induction into a world both big and small, small in the sense that you become one of the few in a group who's job is to keep law and order on the internet, a person who is to represent all that is good and decent in a place that is otherwise. and big in the sense the you must uphold the honor and duty that it curtails, being a mod is a nonstop job. you must make the judgment when to step in and what to say. choosing your words wisely and providing the best solution is key to keeping the forum a great place for all the other members.

I'm pretty sure you knew that otherwise you would not have applied for this job. Just remember if you do make it, you are one of the pillars that hold peace and civility, abuse your mod powers or give us any reason to doubt your abilities, I'm sure that Drew will be keen into having you removed from the position.

Shiki, I trust that a future president can represent himself well here, this is the start on the political stage, meaning it's good practice to keep your constituents wants and needs first and foremost. your a great person, you bring life to the forums and I would gladly vote you in as president of the United States. good luck with your application and if you don't make it then don't worry, just keep up being you and someday you shall make that spot.

yes you have to be rank 4 to apply for the Moderator position. that would require 650 WOA Dollars.
