gDrew's GH/RB ROCKATHON SIGNUPS!!

As u pobably figured out by now, this is going 2 b a whole bunch of band game, Rock tourneys!!! This will be our 1st official ROCK Marthon here at WOA!


This thing is gonna be BIG! I am going 2 organize separate tourneys for guitar and drums EVERY wifi band game….even the guitar only ones!!! The 2 main tourneys will be RB2 and GHWT since the most ppl have them, but we will have smaller tourneys for the games that have less participants. They will b organized into SECTIONS

If there isn’t at least 4 participants for a certain game, im afraid we cant have a tourney 4 that game.

So heres how it will work; lets say 8 ppl show up for the RB2, guitar section of the tourney. Then we will have 4 matches to start with. Each of the 4 matches will b a best of 3 songs, whoever wins 2/3 of the songs will b the winner of each match.
Once there is 4 winners, we will have 2 more matches, doing it the same way, best 2 outta 3 songs. Then, the final 2 winners will face off for the RB2 Guitar Title!

We will work it the same way for both instruments, in all of the game “sections” listed above^^^^^^………. best 2 of 3’s in a tourney style setup, although for the smaller turnys w/less ppl, we may want 2 switch that 2 best of 5’s

Also, were going to do the mode where the player can pick their own difficulty, so not 2 take the fun out of it, BUT, u MUST b able 2 play on at LEAST hard 2 b eligible 2 play

In addition, FOR RB2 AND GHWT ONLY, we are going 2 have a BATTLE OF THE BANDS! That’s right, I said it! I kno it sounds impossible cuz theres no mode for it, but heres how itll work: we make up 2 bands out of the players who showed for each game. Each band MUST have a recorder or at least a way 2 post a pic of their final results. Each band will then pick 3 songs that they wanna play. Each of the 3 songs must b assigned a number, 1, 2 or 3. Then each band will play their songs in that order and record their results for all 3 songs. Afterwards, we will compare the SCORE(not %) of band ones song 1 to band 2’s song 1, song 2 to song 2, and song 3 to song 3. Whoever has the higher score in 2/3 songs will b the champs for that game!!!! Sounds sweet huh!?

Ok so lets talk dates n times………..it will b roughly 3 weeks away, so that GH5 will have been out a week or so and some ppl will have it. im thinkin a Friday, Saturday or Monday.
Those who sign up, it would b much appreciated if u include which 2 out of 3 of those days listed are best for u, and ill pick the 1 with the most results. As 4 time, that will be from 5pm-9:30 pm est, for sure.

When I kno around how many ppl r playin then I can start drawin up some charts for each game/instrument, but for now, just Include what games u r gunna compete in and which instruments for each game. Also if u wanna be in the battle of the bands, say so, and say which instruments u are willing 2 play

Dude with all this games this seems like it will be difficult to organize but if you can handle it then go for it :)

ive had a LOT of experience with that crazy ass nightmare of tryin 2 organize ppl in a chatbox for an event.......ive gotten rather good at it. Plus were only gunna do it 1 game, 1 instrument at a time. No 2 turnys will b going on at once.....and we will also b in our own private chat 2. Dun worry bomb.......this shiz is gunna fkn ROCK!

I'm not rlly a team battle person when it comes to Band Games like Rock Band and Guitar Hero..... it's just me.. But im still doing what i plan on, I AIN'T MISSIN' OUT ON THE FIRST GH/RB TOURNEY!!!!

I've been GH biased for a while but RB: Beatles will be boring as hell unless you want to sing the songs

If you don't want to sing then RB: Beatles will probably be very easy + boring (I do like the Beatles though)

But don't listen to me, I haven't played either one, lol

The Beatles: Rock Band is gonna pwn man. I'm planning on gettin it for christmas (the game not the band kit. waay too pricey)
