Wow Government, wow. The only people who actually get violent from video games are people who are naturally violent, or have slight mental problems. Or losers who believe everything they see. bounce bounce

Considering at how effective the ESRB rating "M" deters parents from letting kids buy mature video games. I don't see how this would make much of a difference.

However, I'd be surprised if this bill makes it out of committee.

Take it from first-hand experience, kids always find a new way.
My parents wouldn't buy my brother CoD and an Xbox because it was M. So what did he do? Bought the Xbox and got the game from my aunt.

There's always another way.
My parents have given up trying with him though, since he gets away with just about anything.

He got out of going to school the other day because he had to stay after for a reading and math help group and cried his eyes out until they said he didn't have to go.
Disgusts me.

But getting back on track, they can get them in other ways than their parents.

Its more of a, this game will turn your child into a mass murdering asshole, rather then a, your child is not allowed to have this game, type of thing. Although its basically saying that.

You rarely see platformers with an anthropomorphic protagonist like those anymore.

Bomberman was another cool game I liked to play back then, taught me everything I know about using bombs strategically.

Holding down and pressing the attack button is the best way to protect yourself.

A valuable skill in today's society.

Fun game. But this was the one that I was used to way back when:

That was another one I loved.
The remake for the GBA was pretty great, too.
