Shiki last night has come on very sad. I came online not too long after he has said it, but there has been a death.

Now I figured I'd put this in its respectful place, because we all know this amazing series as mainly a handheld game. But Shiki has said the creator of Pokemon is no longer with us on this Earth.

I've drifted away from the series my self, I will admit. My interest level in playing the game has gone down dramatically. But Shiki's childhood dreams and memories aren't the only ones shot. I, personally, feel like mine got shanked and lynched.

Pokemon will always serve that special place in my heart of memories, new, old, and so forth. I've loved Pokemon for a good while. And it wouldn't have been that way if this man didn't come up with the amazing, and very amusing idea, of Pokemon. My condolences to him and his family. As well as the many staff of Nintendo and those who worked with him to create what we have today.

Satoshi Tajiri - August 28, 1965 - March 11, 2011 (Creator of Pokemon)

Confirmed to be fake, Satoshi Tajiri is still alive.

Let's not forget honorable mentions of:

Takeshi Shudo - August 18, 1949 - October 29, 2010 (Scriptwriter for the Anime Series and Movies)

The devastations in Japan at the moment with the earthquake and tsunami disasters running about are more important things to worry about.

Because it is a fact that Satoshi Tajiri has not died. There was some kind of rumor going around that he died but this isn't the case. Shiki was simply misinformed.
