Height Restriction on Signatures

well i propose we restrict the hight of peoples signatures, it get quite annoying when a person has a big ass F-off signature that takes up half my screen for example...

Kenta, your signatures take more space than hers does and half of them are animated.

Anyway, we had a discussion about this a long time ago and most of the forum generally agreed that there needed to be a limit to the number/height of everybodys signature.

However, that was a long time ago, and was barely in force back then. So let's talk about what a reasonable height and length that everybody's signatures should be at, without the use of the [spoiler] tags.

Number should matter. The problem here is the general height of the entire signature space, not the fact that another member's signature size is displeasing to one's eye.

This. I think there should there be a size restriction, though, as some of the sigs here can be quite long.

lol? It should. It can take up even more space that way, as yours does.

I agree there should be some restrictions though. If people need all that, they should just use a spoiler.

I keep mine 400x150 and always 3 at max. I think Kelly's takes up as much room. Yours on the other hand Kenta, while they are small, are still larger.
I'm not siding against you, just making the point.
But I also agree there should be limits and such.

Wow Kenta, I knew you'd use mine, since you hate me anyway. and I dont know how to make a signature and I DON'T want to ask someone because sometimes it comes out a way I dont like it, so deal with the height. geeze -_-

Alright, I propose we use this as a maximum height for everybody's signature space.



Any higher (noticeably higher) than that, and that member will be asked to cut their signature area short either by removal of signatures, the use of the spoiler tag, or the modification of existing signatures. By the way, everybody who posted here, with the exception of Kenta, fits within the requirement.

EDIT: I checked around the forum, Shiki and SoB would not fit within the requirement either.

Does everybody agree with the height I have suggested?

Honestly, i cant imagine why anyone would even NEED to have that many sigs. 2 at most, maybe a userbar. I agree.

Not really, this topic hasn't been open that long. I plan to keep it open to provide opportunity for any more comments if warranted, then I'll close it when it is necessary. You don't need to concern yourself about it.

Both of them meet the height requirement, and I don't really feel that a width or number requirement is necessary unless somehow their signature is stretching the page or is causing the forums to load up noticeably slow.

Unfortunately, your signature space is too big SoB to fit into the requirement. You'll have to remove some./point some of them under spoilers./make one of the signatures smaller.
