Ad on the website?

Post by BigAl on Sat Dec 25, 2010 9:55 pm

Why is there an ad at the top of the website, did they get paid or something because it's annoying.

I don't see an ad?

But face it..... Ads are taking over the world as we know it.
Their plot is to annoy everyone

Ads help fund this and several websites over the web, keeping these services free. They've always been apart of forumotion.

If you are registered and logged in or are using an ad-block add-on on your browser, those ads shouldn't come up.

Its a glitch in forumotions ad system. They are working on fixing it. Until then it will only be temporary that you see it.

And technically ad blockers are illegal cause its technically stealing.

Doesn't seem to be any problems on my end.

The pot calling the kettle black I see.

Immoral? I'm sure. Illegal? No legal precedent has been set as of yet. My point was that you if you didn't want to see ads then that was a plausible option on the member's end. I'm not endorsing it nor providing you any information on how to obtain it, that's your business, not mine.

when going to WOA use http://www.woaclan.forumotion.net
instead of woaclan.tk because www.woaclan.tk has lots of ads and http://www.woaclan.forumotion.net is basically ad free

The man speaks the truth. But at least I don't have to deal with ads when I watch anime.

No, I use the .net one and ads have started to pop up at the top of the pages I scroll through. Dunno why, but like I said, I ignore them.

well because as said, previously, since the site is free, the advertising is how the site is free, so they decided to put the ads on the .net version too? because i didn't see the ads until today, but as tal said just ignore them.

There's a vertical one that came up once that was really annoying cause it blocked links, but I think that was a glitch. Ads don't bother me that much.
