Role playing (ideas)

Well, I was thinking we could role play in this topic of mine like a story, it can be random or a anime,video game or movie.

*One day kelly was going in to the forest and stopped by a tree

Thats some extremely basic RP. No offense, but if you want to do a rp, you're going to need a lot more information that just stopping by a tree.

Note things like, the time of day, weather, why she's in the forest in the first place, why'd she stop by that particular tree, etc.

I mean, how interesting would a dragon ball z fight scene be if each person just went

Not very much. Not trying to put you're idea down, but you're going to need a lot more detail than just what you're proposing.

Not very much. Not trying to put you're idea down, but you're going to need a lot more detail than just what you're proposing.

I know, I was just giving a short example

Giving an example that short makes me believe that THAT would be how the RP went. I mean, on average, the intro to any RP should be a paragraph at minimum. The RP itself should be descriptive and vibrant. Lets take this "One day kelly was going in to the forest and stopped by a tree".

Now lets turn it into something different.

One Summer morning Kelly, a 17 year old Senior at High School decided to go on a walk to calm her nerves. School had been stressful and she needed a good break. While walking through the woods she found a nice clearing and decided to stop under a tree and sit for a little, to take in the sights and sounds of this glorious sight.

Somethin like that.
