haiya guys im back :cheers:

1st of all let me say that even tho it was beyond my control, i feel hella guilty about being gone for so long.

now im sure some will be curious, others that know me better already probably guessed, but the reason ive been gone so long is my internet was disconnected.

Ive had many problems like this before, just not for as long. heres the deal:
i live in an apartment building nextdoor to my dad. he just ran his cable over so we could have free cable, and then i had him add internet to his cable and i just paid him for the internet separately and he just sposta add it to his cable bill when he pays it.....

thing is, he doesent pay it!!!
so im actually paying for it but it was constantly getting shut off cuz he doesent pay the bill. and when u dnt pay the bill the internet gets shut off like 3 weeks b4 they shut off ur cable as a warning.....that means it didnt affect him and he didnt care! so id always be stuck waiting 3 weeks to a month to get my internet back.....then 2 months later it happens again!!!

b4 we would just pay his back bill and take it out of the rent we pay him but....that was then....i couldnt afford to be paying his $400 back bill all the time anymore my credit card was maxed...i was a broke ass college kid.

so the time came when it got shut off again, and im not in school anymore so i dont NEED it, and we didnt have the money to pay his bill.....and we were sick of paying our bill and not having internet.....so we said screw it and just had him take the internet off his package since we werent getting it anyway.

so nowww, i have internet and its under MY name! that means it wont be getting shut off all the time anymore!!!!!

recently the time came when i was just reaaaallly sick of having no internet, and so i took the trip to time warner. i didnt think u could get internet w/o paying for cable too....but it turns out you can! so now im on a internet only plan which is only like $50 a month so that will NEVER build up to the point its so high that i cant pay it!

and to be honest, ive actually had it back for about three weeks now but.....i feel so guilty about being gone....i was kinda.....umm like anxious about coming back...i have no clue whats going on and i rly dont know where my place is here right now but....here i am anyway

Dude, last night when I saw you, you just totally made my day beyond your imagination! I love you dude, and I never doubted you for a second. I kept the faith, and believed you would return one day. My prayers were answered thank God. I missed you man, and I was getting worried there for a bit. But I didn't care what the heck anybody said about you being gone, whether it be you would never return, or you got on with your life, I don't give a two bit's say in it. I knew you were gonna return one day, and never believed any other way. Thinking of you returning kept me going in WOA. I can never thank you enough for the wonderful times we spend together on Rock Band, Guitar Hero, on the chat, and any other game. It's a pleasure to see my best friend back at WOA. I can't wait til we can rock it out again bro.

Also, on another note of how well I've gotten: on Rock Band 2, I got a lot more DLC, I've been getting better at drums and guitar so I'd like to see how I compare to you since we last played.

To be quite honest I don't know if you missed much, just a bunch of new members and promotions and things like that. The wii has not had any big online multiplayer releases since you've been gone. I'm not an admin anymore b/c I don't really play a lot of wii anymore, I figured there's no sense in running a clan for a system I don't have any more... the XOA idea collapsed due to lack of interest... uhh hmm what else... I guess Frost filled you in on stuff already

Oh but since Grim came back from a rough illness not too long ago it has been MAD active! (notice 41 users online simultaneously on July 4th)

I seen the 41 users 1st thing last night! I was like w00t w00t! that’s whats up!!!!
But yea that’s why I officially made grim 2nd in command even tho it seemed like a random announcement at the time……I knew if anything ever happened, grim has the will, ability and dedication to keep this clan going just as well as I did. We all owe him a debt of gratitude.
XOA lack of inerest??? Really? There was like 10 ppl who were into it hardcore b4 I left…..id say it was probably more due to lack of a parson willing and able to successfully organize it.
Yea I haven’t played my wii at all since I left….im in it for the online play and since I had no internet it took the fun out of it 4 me. The only games id play w/o internet are GH/RB series buuuuut….my effin drums r still broke and I refuse to buy a THIRD set! Ive been waiting for the ions to come out for wii for literally almost 2 years! Its getting pretty damn annoying bro! Theyre my fav games I have over 20 of them and no drums!!! Almost 1,000 invested in the games alone no instruments, and I cant even play!
Even so, I will eventually have sum tho, and though I haven’t played wii in a while, that’s all the more reason to me to start again….things become more fun again after a while of being deprived of them. I could totally go for sum mkwii! And I will NEVER stop playin band games….and it will always b wii since im invested so deep into it. Even so, I understand u stepping down if that’s what makes u happy….all that matters is u are here, and ur opinion will always be well respected here no matter ur title.

And let me just say, I never doubted ud all still b here, buuut WOW I am so proud of how well ur doin w/o me!…..it almost brings a tear to my eye lol….but rlly, there was a looong time where we’d b super active while I was here, but if I even left for a DAY we fell apart…..i am so so proud and happy we are so strong now and our roots run so deep….i always wanted to get it so that no 1 person, even me, could not affect us that harshly! WOA is so strong now, srsly we are an unstoppable avalanche! A full speed freight train!! Nothing can stop us now srsly…..ill BET that a LOT of will still come here years and years from now…..even if only to post a quick shout out…..i know I will and I said that ta bomb b4 and he agreed readily as if he’d thought it b4 too..i mean we may not still b a running wii clan in 15 years but ill bet we’re all still friends through this site

And I think ur right about XOA. More like lack of organization rather than lack of interest... but also, I think all of us with XBL play different games... only a few of us are into the same games. All I play is MW2 and really the only people I've played w/ from this clan are Adoa, sapient and SoB (who is gone for the summer I think?), ive added a bunch of others but we've never played.
