To anyone who buys music on iTunes
Stop.
Use eMusic.
www.emusic.com
So I was at Best Buy today and I had 100 dollars of gift cards to burn... so I spent 30 dollars on these emusic gift cards I spotted. It was 30 dollars for 60 songs so I was like... that's a pretty good deal I should check it out. And so I did... eMusic pwns the crap out of iTunes! 50 cents a song (some are even less) and it automatically syncs to iTunes anyway!
BTW... any noobs who download illegally... I've found it's not really worth the hassle. Give the artists you love the money they deserve.
EDIT: I'm not so impressed any more... I jumped to a conclusion after using this thing for like 10 minutes, lol... but anyway, many popular artists have no downloads available (NO WOLFMOTHER DOWNLOADS!! GRRRRR I WANT THE NEW ALBUM). But I like a lot of artists that are kind of under-the-radar, so eMusic is pretty good for them. For the more popular bands that I like, I'm going to have to stick with iTunes.

Re: To anyone who buys music on iTunes
I use Blubster to get me some free music, and it says its legal
But don't be preachin' to me or mockin' me.... I really LOVE music, and It's a drag waiting to go to the store and all to buy CD's and some of the stores don't even have the CD with the song or songs you are looking for
Furthermore. You're basically calling me a noob, nice man, that's real nice
And lastly, with this economy we're in, It's every man for themself when it comes to music... XD

too bad for u there is no hassle. Theres a program called iTunes Black Edition. Its just about an exact copy of the iTunes store. Instead of buy it has download though. And when you download it transfers diretly into your iTunes library.
Its no more of a hassle than it is to buy the music.
Re: To anyone who buys music on iTunes
itunes doesnt work for me anymore lol, (Damn the company -.-) so i tryed emusic and it kinda worked but it wont transfer into my library :/

Re: To anyone who buys music on iTunes
I looked up Blubster and for music downloading, it is in fact ILLEGAL, since it's a P2P file-sharing program, just like Limewire or any similar program... those are legal for sharing certain other files, not music files... but it doesn't matter, my real point here is that these artists make a living off of their music, I think you should probably pay them for it.
That's my opinion

no offense, but he said it was just his opinion, and he wasnt enforcing it on you, only stating it.
if he said it like "DOWNLOADING INSTEAD OF BUYING IS FOR ASSHOLES, AND IT'S FACT", then that's when you go srsly on him.

Actually, now that I think about it, I did call people noobs for illegal downloads of music, lol
But seriously... not all musicians are rolling in cash... I like so many artists who aren't big names, and probably are the complete opposite of rich... instead of downloading their songs for free I show them my support by paying them... same goes for anything you pay for, really...

That's a very poor excuse on why you steal music from other artists.

Yeah it's been real tough to where people worry about getting music for free instead of putting food on the table. [/sarcasm]
